Name: Doug Fuller Email:fullerdf@sbcglobal.net Location: Forum Meadows Address / Street: 3410 Socrates Dr. City: Grand Prairie, TX Date: Monday, April 19, 2010 at 22:43:26 Comments: The Live Oak trees planted on the west side of Forum Drive are very close to the property line. In time, they will grow so large that my back yard will be too shady to allow gardening or existing shrubs and grass to survive. Eventually they will be so large that the fence will be damaged by the roots and/or the trunk. In the median, that would not be the case and in other areas that may not be an issue. But for my property, the trees are an issue ... if not now, eventually. Is anyone else concerned about the loss of solar energy or damage to your property? It's great that we are getting trees, but trees should be planted in cooler weather. The leaves are already turning brown on the trees that were planted a few days ago. Are the trees guaranteed or will the PID have to pay to replace them if they die? Do we pay extra to the landscaping company to care for them in this heat? This price should be reduce due to the fact we are taxed for the PID. The PID pay for the same things that our homeowners pay for. And why don't we receive info concerning our homeowners money. Because that money could have been used better then that little so call park that was built. He was there about 2 hrs on wend dec 21, 05 in the same location. I don’t have a problem with him working but he needs to move around so that people see he is there. It is just pitiful that some homeowners let their wood fences rot, fall down, and remain in complete disrepair. What can be done about this?
